WHAT IS AN ESTATE SALE?

An estate sale is an event held over a short period of time, during which all the contents of a property are put up for sale. .  In order to have a succesfull sale, a company would bring a crew in to:

1.-Stage to make items attractive and easily reachable. Often having to bring in extra tables and shelves.

2.-Price according to market value so it would be attractive for buyers and profitable for owner.

3. Advertise the sale in different platforms to attract the most buyers.

4.-Run a public sale, advertising in the nearby area with signage, helping out customers and keeping the sale looking clean and organized. 

WHO CAN USE AN ESTATE SALE SERVICE?

People who need to have all the contents of a property removed and left ready to put on the market for rent or for sale, by generating an income that would help to pay for the cost of it and ideally have a profit from it.  

This could be due to the owner downsizing, moving out ,or passing away. 

WHEN DO I CONTACT AN ESTATE SALE COMPANY FOR A CONSULTATION

Contact a company as soon as you decide to put a property for rent or for sale and you don't know what to do with its contents. Getting scheduled in to have a sale  might take a few weeks or even months.

WHAT TO DO BEFORE HAVING AN ESTATE SALE?

Before you contact an Estate Sale company, try to remove or mark the items that you want to keep out of the sale.  Although, you can still change your mind about some objects, remember that what the company evaluates in their visit is what makes them determinate if they can generate enough profit to pay for the services and give you profit.  This being said, don't throw anything away! Most everything can be sold, and actually the everyday things  bring a good amount of revenue (like kitchen utensils, can food, decor, cleaning supplies, etc).

After you sign the contract with our company and right before the sale,  try to remove everything that you want to keep, or clearly indicate if there is a few items that had to stay in the house.   We would appreciate if at least one of the bathrooms is clean for the use of the crew and the customers during the sale.  

Things not to worry about: 

Pictures or personal documents, we will put them aside in a closed area for you to pick up after the sale, no need to vacuuming and sweeping, we will take care of it, don't remove empty boxes, we will re use them either for customers or during clean out.
